Was going to happen eventually.

I think the team avoiding Covid is going to be huge in any title challenge. Any team that can't train or play a match for 2 weeks is going to be massively disadvantaged to start with when they come back.

Unfortunately, due to a positive Covid19 test in the Gateshead camp, the game has been postponed.

The bar will still be open from 10am when our U16's kick off vs Torquay.

We'll stream another game in the bar, probably Boston vs Telford, and obviously there will be no charge.

There might be the odd sausage knocking about if you're lucky.

If it's OK with all contributors, the money raised will be used to allow the team a hotel stopover in Spennymoor in a fortnight.

Sticking around a while yet, thanks to a gift from a generous angel.

Happy for my donation to go to other hotel costs

I did say it was dangerous to book an overnight stay given the situation. Very lucky we are able to get the money back. I think I make it 7 teams in our league who have been hit by Covid now.

No luck involved whatsoever. The hotel and the deal chosen  were selected  with the possibility in mind, much like one of the many benefits of using  KB coaches is they don't charge us ANY cancellation fee.

All down to excellent planning by the management rather than a stroke of good fortune.

About 4/5hrs a night.

Don't need much. (and we've got a 5yo, plus wife starts work at 6am and doesn't drive!) Smile
