I'm sure someone more in the know can put me straight but was this really the full extent of the Gloucester and District Sunday League last season?

There used to be six divisions at least!

That link is showing 22/23 season. From what I've heard, Sunday League is almost non-existent these days. I stopped playing about 10 years ago and I'm sure there were three leagues back then.

There were 7 divisions when I started playing, and I was in the seventh, which shows the quality knocking about at the time.

I stopped playing Sundays in the Bristol league when the oppo were frequently drinking before games and half time. Once during.

When I played in Manchester it was the same but with weed. And we usually lost.

It was disbanded in 2022/23 as there were only about 4 teams after most went to the Evesham Sunday League in dribs and drabs in the previous seasons.

The last League Cup finals were played at TT that season as I officiated on one of them.

Yes that's my understanding but the referees come from Worcestershire FA not Gloucestershire FA.

There is a very active Vets League played on Sundays in Gloucesters (alternates between Oxstalls and Hartpury and occasionally some games at Tewkesbury) as well as a Division of that competition in Bristol

Sunday sides from Gloucestershire still play in the GFA Sunday Cup
