Fair play to Brandon Liggett, getting a pro contract at CT. Excellent little player, and one I’d love to see back if he’s not getting game time in L2.

Sticking around a while yet, thanks to a gift from a generous angel.

Hopefully somebody comes in for Reckford and Danny retiring must free up some funds for next season.

I'm not convinced on Smalley due to lack of effort in the majority of games I've watched or Robinson (mobility and fitness) and wonder if the funds could be used better.

I don't ever want to see Gloucester City's team used as somewhere for the betterment of C********m Town players.

Why would anyone? And excellent? We lost 9 of the 11 games that he played in.

I feel you get two kinds of players at this level; 110% but not technically great or lack of effort but has the ability to do something special. Harry Emmett is the former but Jamie Reckord is a much better player than him.

My only concern with so many players from last season is:
1- They are used to losing.
2-Do they have good actitudes? I say because we took some hammerings this season and I just Hope It was lack of quality rather than actitud.

Hope we can get Robinson over the line, would be nice to start the pre season with a number 1 and 9.

No surprises really. I believe JP can do a job for us next season if playing in the correct position.
Juries out on the keeper tho, I hope Robinson and Smalley sign but as others have said the latter needs to give 100% . I firmly believe he’s got what it takes.

The core of the team that got outplayed by Bishops Cleeve should be nowhere near our starting XI next year else things are only going to go one way - BPA Sad

I like Smalley, scored a few of his goals out of nothing so I'd like to see him stay. Robinson is a must, got a decent return since he joined.

End of the day though we went down comfortably with these players, and we need new blood in - just not a complete new squad (except Liam Armstrong) like happened last season. Fingers crossed for Cookies little black book.

The Reck(f)ord I've seen play for City is very decent but lazy and unreliable.and it's no surprise he's deteriorated from the National League (and above) to us. We need players who are motivated by wanting to win rather than an easy ride.

It's a fair enough list I think. No shocks in there. About as good as the team we signed last summer, which wasn't good enough for Conference North, but should be ok for Southern League, with the right additions....

It looks to me like we have a keeper, central defenders, central midfielders, centre forwards (if they sign), but very few wide players (Brain and Emmett?). The last 2 months we were incredibly narrow and the performances stunk. Getting 2 quality wingers and 2 solid full backs should be top priority.

Does it mean they’ll be non-contract, but have agreed to play for us next season?

Interesting list, especially that we’re only definitely seeing 4 players exit at this point in time.

As I understand it they would like you to stay but your contract has expired. So you would have to agree a new contract for the forthcoming season. If you are offered a better deal elsewhere you are free to go.

Ps
It could mean only the four on contract for next season actually stay.
