Southern Central or South?
#1

The picture for next season is becoming clearer now, word on the street today was that it might fall between us and Bishops Stortford who go into the Central division. I sincerely hope that the clubs' wishes match my own that we go in to the Southern Premier South and that they make it clear that we are in fact geographically more southern than BS.

Hitchin and Berkhampstead both getting relegated from SLPC so may make sense for Bishops Stortford to go into that league, but when has sense ever come into it????

If we do go South we'll very likely be facing Wimborne who had a crowd of 2307 yesterday in their top of the table match v Frome. New listing for Tiger Roar?

No guarantee we will play Swindon Supermarine if we go south. Other teams below them have at least one game in hand which could send them down.

I personally would rather see us go South, the Central league to me just looks like a load of NLN fodder. I’d much prefer to have a complete change of scenery, a few seaside away games, maybe a few London-way away games just for a change.

Whichever is the worse outcome for us, that’s what will happen

Either option seems OK, likely plenty of old rivalries in the central, Leamington,Bromsgrove,Kettering,Redditch I don't think Telford as they're my bet for play off promotion back to NLN.
I do believe SLPS is perhaps the easier league of the two.
Depends if MC has that budget to get the 5 or 6 players he has targeted for a quick return or at least challenging, if not we may be in for a handful of years rebuilding the club both pitch side and in the boardroom.

South looks the better option for us.

To bounce back I agree South looks better.
So it's bound to be Centrsl.
