So, so, sorry to read this Mark, deepest condolences to you, Sally and your family. I think everything has been said already in this thread.

I came to first know Taff through the ST when we were playing at Whaddon Road. He had a great sense of humour and a real strength and determination when defending the club, trust or individuals. I remember him as very inspiring, particularly the way he led the Trust when we were dealing with Rod Jenner, and very good at ‘coercing’ people into helping out or parting with your money.

Lovely to read your memories, Mark, you clearly had some great times with your dad / ‘Taff’, something you can treasure forever.

RIP Taff, definitely one of a kind and he won’t be forgotten. Xx

Was really sad when I found out the news about Taff as was always a pleasure catching up with him over the years. Others have mentioned about him and goalkeepers and there was one incident at Rocester which was a personal favourite of mine. He either tried to kick the ball as hard as he could at the keeper or kick it in a different direction (it was over 20 years ago and the memory is a bit hazy), but it was hilarious. A big horse racing fan as well so we also had that in common.

Condolences to you Mark and the rest of your family.

“You muppet”
Great terminology by a great bloke and a true City supporter.

I've passed onto the club that I definitely think a minute's silence is warranted for the next home game.

Would be more fitting if we had a minute of giving needle to the opposition goalkeeper Wink
