£350 to Southport midweek in 2003. I'd love to see a breakdown of costs. They only pay the driver £13 or £14 per hour so even if he's working 10 hours thats still £800+ they're charging. How much fuel? £100? £150?

Could they charge £600 instead? They end up getting nothing and the coach probably sits in the depot earning nothing.

The trouble is the coach won't end up sat in the depot. They're generally fully booked, and that's why they insist on confirmation by Wednesday at the latest now. This would have been a bigger coach for the same price as all the 34 seaters were booked out already. Good for them, not so good for us.
