Full time: City 1 Scarborough 0 (another goal for Theo - in the unlikely event that we avoid relegation he will become a City legend)
We’re now down to five points from safety if other teams lose their games in hand.

Well Done City, on today's Win. A welcome clean sheet, new goalkeeper looks more secure. Theo Robinson has scored some goals for us. He could be the one that helps us stay up. Spencer back in the team, could be the difference as well.
Andrew Adebowale, Hannah, Hoskins, Kirkup, Mainwaring, Tucker, Wollen.
Danny ANDREW, Jake ANDREWS.

Fantastic result, and performance, much improved on previous weeks. Once again we’re looking at the table with hope, as Matt says 5 more like that needed.
Theo is something else, I was stood directly behind his strike, he had so much still to do from there, what a goal. Was disappointed to see the confusion before the penalty, I worried that and the subsequent miss was going to kill us.
I wish Cookie would make some changes earlier in games, it looked like he was waiting for them to score before doing anything. Oh well it worked out in the end.
Come on City!

Excellent all over - what a performance that was. If there was any criticism it'd be that we didn't win by 3 or 4! Liggett at right back, terrific. Theo with a brilliant strike from a well executed counter attack, and we defended really well throughout. Importantly we still tried to play some football in the 2nd half, rather than solely sitting back.
McHale was well looked after too, he was up front and center in the first 20 minutes but dropped back into the 10 role where he was able to get on the ball and work in tight spaces like he can do, but we were solid around him and made sure there was very little end product.
Massive win, have to build on it yet though.
