Hopefully that’s that and he pulls the plug now.

I doubt it, he'll be handing them over to his son as his inheritance. I gather he's not too popular with some of their supporters. Colin Peake was none too happy about the way he was treated by him on a post on their heavily policed forum. But... DV is still continuing with the madness of building his wooden stadium - and has put in an application to build houses on the site of the current one. It'll all end in tears a la Rushden & Diamonds.

FGR fans obviously have very short memories, without him they'd be a NLS side at tops you'd have thought. They were always flirting in that relegation zone (and had 3 reprieves) and they are arguably punching about 5 divisions above their actual level.

I'm not a Dale Vince fan, but at least he's got (or had) a vision, at least he wanted to take that club to the highest level possible and build them a stadium to be proud of. Something we'll never see here at City.

With a Palestinian flag flying proudly above it. I'd genuinely rather us be struggling in the Hellenic League than support a Club owned by JSO supporting dale Vince.

Sticking around a while yet, thanks to a gift from a generous angel.

From my experience, there are a significant number of FGR fans who know their place in the footballing stratosphere and have simply been going along for the ride.  A large number have walked away since Vince took over.

Those who think FGR are something more than a National League club are the Jonny-come-latelys who have jumped on the bandwagon.

Any idea what the thread was on their forum? I occasionally swing by there for a laugh at how mismanaged the club is and to see how some ex Argyle players are being viewed. Didn't realise Mr Ego himself was on there.

Really glad they are down and hope the decline continues. Absolutely farcical club and not fit for the professional game.

The Hannah Dingley situation made an absolute mockery of how far women have come in the game. Her only game in change being the behind closed doors friendly was against the actual 'Green Army'.

They didn't need it, they don't need it. Even worse you get people working themselves up into a frenzy about MK Dons yet this is the same thing but on a smaller scale.

I think it's run it's course. I don't think anyone would've heard of him or Ecotricity had it not been for his links with the football club. He's involved with Just Stop Oil now isn't he?
