If players aren't being realistic, then they can leave, their choice.

The football club is more important than any of them, and I would of thought this year of all years there will be plenty of players available and probably desperate to play football when the time comes.
Of course the football club comes first but if you are being under paid in the first place then nothing wrong with asking for some more cash in my view.

Agree that there should be no harm in asking, although rejection can cause loss of face and precipitate a move. The problem comes when the money isn't there, or you think you're worth more than you are.

I think its going to be a buyer's market come the new season, and a more level playing field than it has been.

Bloody hell, you've got good eyesight!

I don't think Alex will be a replacement for Hanksy we will get a better player for that but he will be a good squad player like this season. I am more concerned about a replacement for Marlon, our three forwards are all a bit light weight for this league, we need a big rough and tumble striker up top.

The signing I'm most excited about.
I loved Marlon. He was strong and ran his knackers off for the cause, but he was never prolific (not his fault, always, I acknowledge)

I'm hoping our new No.9 is the player we need.

Sticking around a while yet, thanks to a gift from a generous angel.
