A frank and honest interview, fascinating really.Clearly holds no grudge against the Club. I wonder if he would come back?

Boris loved the club and was heartbroken when he was sacked. There was a great connection between the fans and players/staff back then

And I didn't realise Doug Foxwell had played for them.

I remember that game really well, put me in a terrible mood. 4 down at half time.

Dougie Foxwell could strike a ball better than any player I can remember watching for City. All about the technique. Some great perms as well

Just finished listening to Jody Bevan (seems very nervous - but City through and through) and Warren Mann. That lad is certainly confident in himself. Had a chuckle at some of his language and his reference to Ellwood spectators as the 'in breds'  Big Grin

Bloody hell, you've got good eyesight!

I see that SS watched a lot of games last year, have a question.
Did you see any players playing at a level below City which you think could have the potential to play in the NL North?

Someone like Will Tunnicliff for example has been around the City system for a while but spent last season with Cirencester, where for me he flourished. So he would one in particular who has the ability to make the step up in the next few years.

Kieran Alder at Cinderford too is one who can make the step up in a couple of years.

City have the benefit of the relationship with Hartpury College and they have a number of great players coming through too, but again are probably a couple of seasons away from being ready

That's a relief.

Sticking around a while yet, thanks to a gift from a generous angel.
