So will anyone actually be running things tomorrow or will it just be chaos?

I think it would be brilliant if you could teeet your photos real time Neil. I love the effort you go to to ‘caption’ your photos. Imagine tweets summarising the action along with one of your photos.  Heart

“Dumpster fire”, “bed wetters” - you have quite the variety of labels for fans to add to ‘Wally’ and other W-words!

All I know is that hand on heart I welcomed them. I spoke to Patrick after the initial open evening prior to preseason and was feeling positive about the forthcoming season.

Should I elaborate then?

Chaos no doubt as it was last season.

Nothing worse than what’s being said in the TEOSC chat I’m sure, or at least from what I’ve seen of it.
Hopefully lessons have been learned anyway, we can all influence the club in a positive way off the field if we put our minds to it, but I really doubt any player has been signed or not signed because of the opinion of any fan, let’s be real.

Please change your signature. Doing so will be taken as consent to use your photos.

Elaborate all you wish, but if you think PC is signing because a fan said so, nobody will take you seriously no matter what you say.

Firstly I would like to thank the Chambers for their efforts.

Quite how they came to commence running affairs I don’t know- maybe they were approached or felt they had taken Hungerford as far as they could. Certainly the model they created at Hungerford- community club well run and importantly not spending what they didn’t have.
To this end on whose advice we don’t know the idea of signing local players- much less expensive travel fees and silly hotel bills to pay looked logical. Sadly the locals aren’t up to the mark.

Maybe they thought they could recreate it at NMP - self financing with a bit of help but found that GCFC is a totally different ball game. Almost upon arrival the snipers and keyboard warriors are out ( as they did with AP despite him bringing us home- staggering) . I ask myself what do people gain from it with many posters both on here and other social media outlets never attending a game with some comments almost reaching prosecution status . A very very sad state of affairs- but sadly replicated many times towards football club chairman managers and officials up and down the country.

Let’s not forget it’s better to have a club maybe a league or two below our current status than the very real possibility of no club at all.

“The club can confirm that Patrick and Nicky Chambers have stepped down from their roles this morning. A further statement will go out during the day confirming the club’s stewardship going forward.”

I see the COF and Darran are quoted in the Punchline article: https://www.punchline-gloucester.com/art...son-so-far
