Patrick has a calm and sincere manner about him, that when he speaks he instils you with confidence. With Nicky running the commercial side and the catering, I think we’re in very safe hands.
I’m excited for the future.

Just home from what was an enjoyable and social evening.
Thoughts? I come away thinking that they have taken a good look at the Club and have a clear strategy to develop and grow the Club over time; a journey that includes listening to supporters and involving the whole of the club including the youth and Women's sides.
Will it work? Well, they have a proven track record and an engaging and inclusive style. It stands a good chance. The future promises to be very interesting indeed.
Great to see the bar packed and buzzing with conversations and friendship.

Not surprised it has gone so well and hopefully it gives us the stability we desperately need right now. All we need is King to stay and next season could be very exciting

I didn't ask a question but I thought the only one worth asking was about ground improvements and that seemed more in the hands of the landlords (EM and AP) rather than the new owners. He mentioned wanting 1500 gates, but whenever we've had above average crowds someone always says that they couldn't get a decent view of the pitch. If we want people to keep coming back then they need to be able to see the action.

A very positive evening. Patrick came across as a proper football person. Certainly said all the right things. Nothing sensational or groundbreaking, but that's fair enough I think. We don't need anything revolutionary - just constant steps in the right direction. This is what they've achieved at Hungerford, and it sounds like they'll do the same here.
