Yeah but we are now at a point where some what red and yellow, and some what yellow and black.  There may even be a few who really want to go back to the red and white.  You are never going to fully square that circle, at some point it needs to stop being something that stops the club and the fans connecting.  I think its right its been raised now, with a change of ownership, I think TM's point on censorship and re-writing history are also valid, but if the new regime decides to stick with red and yellow, then I think we need to draw a line under it and all move on, otherwise it'll end up being a wound that will never heal.

Yes the original decision caused upset and wasn't handled with the care maybe it should have been, to revert now though may cause the same ill feeling.  I think maybe the one thing we can all agree is that its not an enviable position to be in to have to make that kind of decision, or comment on that decision before your name is even above the door.

Who is going to be angry about changing the current colours? I agree we may have some new fans who have only seen us in the current colours but I’m sure they are aware of our history and probably wouldn’t be that bothered. Like I say though I would hope Patrick would be open to a fan vote on it and we can see where the opinion is.
