Same here. At least unlike brexit it won’t screw the country over!

I don’t think it’s not important, I just hold an alternative view. I don’t think there’s chance it won’t be discussed, and I’m sure Patrick will take it all into account before making any decisions. I personally think it’ll be a compromise, which most would be happy with. Some won’t be satisfied unless they get exactly what they want.
that’s life!

To be fair you aren’t one who has said that we should let it go and move on.

Hmm, be interested to see how you would react if the chairman decided to change to Y&B and there was a revolt by the R&Y brigade.

I'm not against Y&B, but my concern would be that since we've been back to Gloucester we've been R&Y. Merchandise bought by new fans and the next generation, who we are trying to attract. Do we want to alienate this new supporter base?

I personally don’t think we will alienate them but obviously just an opinion. Would be interesting to know how many had never been to a game prior to last season so never saw us play in yellow and black in the flesh. You would hope they would understand why the move back would be made. Could be a money spinner as they will be the new stuff and as been mentioned some have not purchased anything since the change.

If Patrick decided to go back without a vote then I’d be happy but I don’t think he will and a vote is the fairest thing to do.

A vote would be interesting. Who would be eligible? If season ticket holders and trust members only, would most probably result in Y&B. If a voted by those in attendance Saturday, think it may be close. My views only.

How you organise a vote would be tricky. Obviously there is a mailing list so perhaps it could be done via that list

Could really boost Trust membership numbers…!

To change the subject, he didn't sound too keen on SK which would be a shame and the budget will quite frankly be a peppercorn on this season. AP budgeted for 1500 a game, I can't and I may get shot down see many away fans coming just for the good experience.
I worry about the lease of the ground not thinking we should get the revenue for any events held or buying it from them. Or any cost to improve would be the clubs and not AP and EG. If you rent a house would you build an extension and pay for it?
Sorry for not being optimistic but am so glad we are in safe hands just no wand to take us up the league's that I hoped ( I know that was never going to happen)

Lots of people asked how many voted on the colours issue in the VOTTE Twitter poll. It was 149, with 71% backing a change to yellow and black. The only other option was don’t change.

You’re welcome!

An interesting article from the chairman of South Sheilds on their website. He says “ …the primary source of income will be Season tickets sales sponsorship and hospitality “ so no big backer there.

Also they will be offering season tickets valid for 3 yrs in order to boost the coffers - at this seasons price.
What do you do once you have spent the extra in the first season? ..

At least they haven’t got JJ’s wages any more.
