Meet the Chairman Questions

What's going to bring more fans through the door on a regular basis 'cause that what we need.  A yellow and black kit or an improved match day experience?

I know where my priority would be.

Patrick has said last night that he’s read about issues at the club online, including the colours, and he is aware that some people are passionate to change back, some would like it kept as it is. I’m sure that reading these threads and twitter that he’ll appreciate that this is a subject that needs to be on the table, and I expect the Trust will also conduct their own talks about the matter.

I say that all to say, I don’t think we’re changing each-others minds here and I don’t think the “get over it” and “boring” shouts are helpful in an Open Forum and are just causing people to comment more. Maybe it’s a case of saying, people are reading this, they’ve seen this is an issue and it’ll be brought up in due course (and in my mind a vote comes from it).

Somebody must know the number who voted on the twitter vote, was it ten? Was it twenty? Come on all those who want the yellow & Black back speak up. Personally I want Red & White back but it 'aint gonna happen. lets put the vote to everyone who walks through the door for a game in the near future and finish this crap once and for all. The forum is a small minority of who actually walks through the turnstiles but some think they speak for all. We now average around about 750ish, much more than the 250 at Evesham, let them have their say or is that not right because they didn't support the club in the nomad times? Personally sick of this bickering to me it is what it is and I live with it, I don't care if we play in sky blue pink with purple spots as long as we have a club.

Why should their legacy be more than the ground? I’m not sure they deserve anymore than that to be honest. Quite frankly it seems Alex could have done anything he liked and you would have been happy. Those of you saying let it go would appear to be in the minority based on the Twitter vote and by quite some way.
We all wanted a new ground but apart from the fact it’s in Gloucester let’s be fair it is barely functioning as a football ground.

Darren you have every write to disagree. with what I say , but with out a club what is the point of having fan's . I didn't think  Alex did no wrong and didn't like some of the things he did or didn't do.Yes mistakes were made in the construction of the ground but it's is a functional ground otherwise we would not be licenced to use it ?

149 people voted in the poll in which 71% (106 people) voted for yellow and black and 29% (43 people) voted against yellow and black. Those who voted against would have been a mixture of red and white and red and yellow I’m guessing, as it was a straight for/against yellow and black.

Amen! Let our future respect our past, but not be governed by it.

Having watched the YouTube footage the priority seems to be reaching the 1500 average attendance level. I thought the £10 per supporter weekly wage budget was very interesting. They will need to get the numbers up if we're to compete.
As I read it the yellow and black debate was politely batted away. Personally I don't care what we play in and find it all a bit silly. Maybe
I've been brainwashed or more likely I'm just too old to care.
There's also been a bit of slagging off of the ground which I find a bit sad. Personally for a club at our level I think it's great. Having done a few away trips I think we're pretty lucky.

Everyone's entitled to an opinion MeadowClark and yes boring should be worded tedious, which reading pages of these comments it is. Nothings going to change immediately the guys not on board yet and has a few months running his business and another club to navigate before his full football focus on our club, for me success on the pitch is first and foremost END OF.
That's the very last I will comment on this subject.

Pretty sure PSL played us at MP this season in dark blue, as I remember commenting that the ref should not be wearing black.
