18th January 1997.

  FA Trophy, 1st Round.
  Yeading 0 - 3 Gloucester City.

  On this Day, in 1997, Gloucester City AFC were back on the FA Trophy adventure, for the 1996/97 season. Gloucester were drawn to  play Yeading away, in this 1st Round Tie.
Gloucester made the trip to Middlesex, having not played a First Team match since defeating C********m Town at home, on Boxing Day, in the previous month.
Played in front of a crowd of 245, Gloucester managed to get back into the groove, as they won 3 - 0. City's goals were scored by, Gary Kemp, Chris Burns, and an own goal.
City had Booked there place into the 2nd Round.

The ground has since been rebuilt and featured as the training ground in Ted Lasso. Prior to that it was used for Bend it like Beckham.

23rd January 1990.

A Very Happy Belated Birthday to ex-gcafc striker Ben Hunt. Ben initially joined us on loan from Bristol Rovers. He started off in the West Ham United Youth Team.
The most recent club that he was at, was Cray Valley Paper Mills, in 2016/17.
