18th July 2000.
Gloucester City AFC on this date, had a pre season friendly, away at fellow Gloucestershire side Brockworth Albion. The friendly was watched by a crowd of 90.
City beat Brockworth 3 - 0, Jimmy Cox scored a Hatrick.

We played Wolves whilst at Evesham, lost 2-1 or 2-0 I think, U23 side though as would have been the Wolves side in 1998 although it wasn't then organised as an U23 set up?

Noticed that Jolean Lescott was in Wolves Starting Eleven, he Had a good career, (Wolves, Everton, Man City). Striker Adam Proudlock on the bench, believe he played in Wolves First Team, also played for AFC Telford Utd.

On this date, Gloucester City AFC had a home pre season friendly, against now League One side Forest Green Rovers. Believe that when we played FGR in this friendly, they were in the now National League.
Gloucester Drew 2 - 2 against the fellow Gloucestershire side. The City goalscorers were, Lee Jeffries, and Jimmy Cox.
