On this day nine years ago City won 1-0 thanks to an own goal against Bradford Park Avenue but what was unique about the game?

If that was what it was, I can remember that. It was a midweek game, we were groundsharing at C********m? I was stood behind the Home dugout, the person that went onto run the line, was stood quite close to me. When you said Matt Yates, I was thinking of our on loan Derby County goalkeeper.

It was a Saturday and he ran the line furthest away from the open areas at Whaddon.

Remember when Wayne and Gary Thorne's Dad ran the line at the old MP? I think the lino fell and hurt his arm so we needed a substitute.

Not a Valentine's Day Massacre for City, but a result that we would Love. Gloucester City AFC were in Dr Martens Premier Division action, away at Gresley Rovers.
A crowd of 566 saw City come away with a 3 - 2 win. The Gloucester goalscorers were, Steve Ferguson, Andy Mainwaring and Darren Keeling.
To think that Gresley Rovers could have been playing Vauxhall Conference football this season, if there ground had met the Ground Grading Criteria.
